WERK ARENA multi-purpose hall
The subject of the event was the performance of engineering and coordination activities incl. technical supervision during the construction of the Werk Arena multi-purpose hall. The building of the hall has two above-ground floors and one part has a sunken basement. The lowest floor houses the hall's technical facilities, hockey players' locker rooms including facilities, gastro operation, supply yard and warehouses. On the 1st floor there is a corridor with sanitary facilities, refreshments and entrances to the hall and auditorium. VIP beds and restaurants are designed around the stands on the 2nd floor. The highest floor of the hall is technical, where air conditioning units and a steel footbridge are located. The hall building is roofed with steel
lattice construction.
The perimeter shell consists of all-glass facade systems, a metal facade (pororošt), a CORTEN facade and a contact insulation system in combination with a suspended folded visible prefabricated shell in the places between the reinforcing communication towers. The hall is mainly used for organizing hockey matches of the local club HC Oceláři Třinec and, among other things, for organizing various social and cultural events. The total capacity of the hall is approximately 5,200 seats.
